Wit’s End

There was a moment today, when a saw was blazing, repairing a leaking shower, and my youngest was shrieking, having been hit by his brother, and my oldest was despairing, because there was so. much. Schoolwork. And I was empty. Feeling behind in my own work, sub-par in my mom/distance learning work, and way behind in the upkeep of our home.

Today was a Monday. So I’ll try to give myself a little slack. But I felt so out of my depth, so inadequate, that it’s truly hard to think about tomorrow.

Are we at rock bottom? No. I’ve seen worse, truly.

Am I at my wit’s end? Absolutely.
